Massapequa Park Homes for Sale

Massapequa Park is one of 64 incorporated villages in Nassau County and 551 villages in the State of New York. Located in the southern part of the Town of Oyster Bay, the Village measures 2.2 square miles, and is bordered by the Southern State Parkway on the north and the Great South Bay on the south.

Massapequa Park was incorporated as a Village in 1931 with Peter F. Colleran presiding as the First Mayor. The first Village Justice was Judge Michael J. Brady. Brady and Colleran Parks are named for these two men who were so instrumental in the development of the Village.

The Village is in the Second U.S. Congressional District. For State government, the Village is in the Ninth Assembly District and the Eighth Senatorial District. As of the 2010 Census, the population was 17,008.
